Despite advances in recycling technologies and increased awareness of the benefits of the “circular economy”, the demand for mined raw materials and commodities continues to surges higher due to its hardware applications in our modern world.
Simultaneously, the private sector is required to act responsibly and contribute more to the achievement of global and national government objectives and policies, particularly those focused on, socioeconomic development, human and institutional capacity development, human rights, and the management of global challenges like climate change.
